“Culture is a Privilege and Not a Right”

I am thankful for the times in life at which I’ve been a mindless automaton,

Just dancing to the beat,
That is the celestial stuff of light to me,
As the buildings

Empty,
Deteriorate,
Are burned down,
Under weather which hates you to your core
Around women who will suck you for every ounce of your marrow

And summon you to their most sordid realms,
You must brace yourself to keep up with the beat
In dead times of decorated anachronisms.
